ICWE 2024 – AT A GLANCE
The International Conference on Web Engineering (ICWE) is the premier annual conference on Web Engineering and associated technologies. It covers different aspects of Web Engineering, including the design, creation, maintenance, operation, and usage of Web applications. ICWE aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from various disciplines in academia and industry to tackle the emerging challenges in the engineering of Web applications, the problems and opportunities of its associated technologies, and the impact of those technologies on society and culture.
ICWE 2024 will be held on June 17-20, 2024, in Tampere, Finland. Tampere is the central city of the sixth-largest urban area in the Nordic countries. Tampere region comprises 22 municipalities, with more than 512,000 residents in total. It is one of the most rapidly developing regions in the country. Tampere is a city of culture, sports, and education as well as a center of technology, research, and business. Tampere is also one of Northern Europe’s hotspots in the fields of information and communications technology, biomedical engineering, and biotechnology, as well as automation and mechanical engineering.
This year, ICWE will be organized as an on-site event and sponsors can have great presence and visibility at the physical locations of the event as well as on the conference website. The conference will have separate but equally prestigious research and industry tracks for the papers presented at the conference. It offers a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange and share results, providing great opportunities for innovation. We expect more than 5 timely workshops to co-locate with ICWE.
